- The water from the city water supply plant is completely regular for drink; a 1,5-liter bottle of non-carbonated water at stores costs between 0,35 and 0,60 EUR;
- A 600-gram loaf of white bread costs 0,50 EUR, an empty hot-dog bun 0,15 EUR, while the price of other bagels in bakeries vary from 0,20 to 1,00 EUR. Most city bakeries work non-stop, even on Sundays;
- Coffee at cafés costs between 0,50 and 1,00 EUR, a glass of juice 1,30-1,50 EUR, and a dose of spirits 1,00-2,50 EUR;
- “National fast food” – bourek costs 1,20 KM, and chevap 3,00 EUR (a big portion), whereas one would have to spend 10,00-15,00 EUR for a dinner in some of the popular city restaurants
